Apple’s next smartphone iPhone 7 is just few weeks away from official launch and and we are getting more and more details of the device now a day. The earlier rumors confirmed that iPhone 7 would look identical to iPhone 6s with minimal changes. The antenna bands in iPhone 7 are seen shifted to the edges across the top and bottom edge only walk of the rear side, instead of horizontally.
The bottom of the smartphone shows two speaker grilles on both the sides of the lightning port and there is no sign of the 3.5mm audio jack. This pretty much confirms that the new audio input on the smartphone will have to be either from the lightning port or through a wireless Bluetooth device.
According to leak Apple iPhone 7 will be powered by new A10 chip. The chipset has been benchmarked on Geekbench which confirms it to be as powerful as Apple’s A9X chipset. The performance score of the A10 is approximately 18 percent higher than the A9 processor. The benchmark app Geekbench 3 A10 able to achieve a single-core of more than 3,000 items, about the same amount as the Apple A9X.
Apple CEO Tim Cook has already claimed that iPhone 7 will make everyone want to upgrade to the new device and speed could well be the reason for that upgrade.
It is expected that Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be announced in September during the annual press event with a 3 GB of RAM, new larger camera for the iPhone 7, a dual camera for the iPhone 7 Plus, custom antenna stripes on the back, a Smart Connector for accessories, a 4G / Intel LTE modem.
The iPhone 7 is also expected to offer new storage options up to 32 GB and might come with a Force Touch Home Button. The iPhone 7 will possibly be water resistant.
