The last few week there have seen several rumors floating Apple’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus but these rumors were concerned with specifications and release date. Now new rumours claims that iPhone 6s has finally received a release date which is going to be 8, September.

Apple has invested approximately $1.7 billion USD in JDI which is the largest manufacturer of smartphone displays for mass production of displays for its upcoming iPhones. iPhone 6s Plus is expected to render a 2K resolution while iPhone 6s is expected to resonate a 1080p.

Apple’s WWDC 2015 event is going to kick off on June 8, which is going to showcase the upcoming mobile operating system update iOS 9. iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be running iOS 9 with new Apple A9 chip. Both handsets are also expected to be featured with 2 GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
